The original container was given to me by harrycats, before I had ever put out a cache. Because of his connection to Drive-In Theaters, I had wanted to place the cache at an old drive-in. (You can visit his Drive-In Theater Cache, GC1P833 sometime when you are headed up Hwy 65.) I found an old drive-in theater site in town, but someone else liked that location too.
Instead, this cache marks another bit of public history and art. I am happy that Sherwood has a few, and I am willing to bet you are too! Mueller has created so many of these in Albertville, AL that Albertville was declared the H------ Capitol of the World in 1989. Other inventions attributed to Mueller are the roller skate bearing, modern spark plug, variable speed automotive transmission, and sugar cube making machine.
The container had to be replaced in 2015, the newer container may be a bit more challenging.
