captainmath: There are still quite a few on the log sheet who haven't logged the event online, but I'm archiving now to clear it from local searches.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Geocachers University, or at least its techie division, Geo-Tech U.

Last Winter, we hosted the first Geo-Tech U, focused on tips and tricks to get the most out of geocaching technology - GPSrs, computer applications, handheld/cell phone apps, etc.

Due to the great response, we're offering this sequel to last year's event, adding some things that have been requested. We'll be offering sessions on GSAK software, how to choose and use a GPS unit, geocaching with a Garmin Oregon, and this year we'll close by holding a panel discussion.

We'll again hold a raffle so you can go off with some great prizes for attendees. Again this year one lucky attendee will win a free license for GSAK software. We'll have some cool cache containers up for grabs from Firemonkee's Cache Closet. There will be items from CoinsAndPins, OtterBox, and software from GCSoft, with more to be announced. Also, all attendees will receive a discount coupon for a starter kit or refill pack from Pathtags.com.

Whether you're new or more experienced with geocaching, come on out and join us for an informative, fun, and very useful activity.

The event will be held at the Delaware Valley High School on Routes 6 & 209 near Matamoras, PA. There will be plenty of parking available. Attendees should enter via the Natatorium entrance to the building (at the posted coordinates), and signs will lead you to room C13 where the event will begin at 9:30am. After the event raffle at the end of the program, beginning and experienced geocachers who choose to try some of our local geocaches can form up groups and maybe even try putting some new skills to the test.
