Geocache Description:

The Crucible

The posted coordinates are BOGUS. Do not go there.

The other day I was down at my local croquet club and I was having my usual hit with 6 times club champion Dave Visset. Now Dave has been around the game longer than I have and while his game is not quite as sharp as it once was, his memory is as good as ever.

In the good old days you could always get a game of singles on a Saturday and each lawn would have 2 or 4 players and just the primary colours, Red, Yellow, Blue and Black would be employed. However such is the recent popularity of the game and the abundance of younger players around these days that other solutions to overcrowding have been found.

Last weekend Dave and I found ourselves playing doubles together but on this occasion the secondary coloured balls, Pink, White, Green and Brown were brought out of the shed. This enabled a second game of doubles to take place on the same lawn.

Of course this creates all manner of problems and each player must regularly go out onto the lawn and mark balls that are getting in the way of the other game and vice versa.

One side benefit was that at the end of that day's play I was able to assemble all of the balls used that day on one lawn and apart from lining up some interesting shots, this gave me the idea for a cache.

You will need to solve the puzzle in order to give you the minutes and seconds of the cache location.

The cache is a 1 litre ex fruit container painted black with logbook and swaps.
