Early in 2009 Bangkok
cachers welcomed Lord and Lady (Patricia) "Bones"
.
Lord "Bones" was
elevated to the Peerage by Gerboa who is a direct descendant of
King Engus
Gerboa's
Lineage
The ceremony was
preceded by a rendition of "Ours is a nice house, ours is", in
recognition of Pat's long time residence in Hackney. The chorus....
" With a ladder and some glasses We could see the 'ackney marshes
if it wasn't for the ahses in between" was enthusiastically taken
up by Dr.Beattie, Monkey_King and a number of Japanese
tourists
Lord Bones might also be
mentioned for finding all the caches in Bangkok, bringing his total
to over 7000.
His last cache in
Bangkok was nearly his last ever..nuff said.
He, as any cacher who
comes here and meets Gerboa, was forced to place a cache, which was
soon muggled, as is par for the course,
so.....
belatedly we have placed
a new one in honour of the visit.
As they are great
puzzlers, Ximines has set a puzzle which they will probably solve
at a glance.
