Twelve (yes, 12) Days of Christmas Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Yowza-PA: I hate to archive this one with 827 finds and 174 favorite points, but it has been consistently muggled at least 2-3 times a year and I now live too far away to give it the attention it deserves. I have been gratified that this cache has held a position of the highest "favorited" Traditional microcache in PA for a long, long time. When I launched this cache, I thought it was "cute" but not did not anticipate the number of people to whom it would bring joy in the find. It was a bright-spot in an otherwise bleak location... it brought some honor to Centralia when many others come to take advantage of the place. I will use this idea somewhere else (I now live down in Skippack near Philly).

Geocache Description:

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 12 drummers drumming. This could be an easy C&D if you're having a lucky day. BYOP

You're looking for a colored bison tube. Hard to say exactly what color. Hard to say what height off the ground. Did I mention the 12 days of Christmas? I wonder why there are 12 days and not 11, or 13 or even 42 for that matter. But indeed there are 12. 12 seems to be a very popular number: months, astrological signs, steps in a program, grades in school, hours in a clock (analog), eggs in a dozen - yep, 12 in all of those things. How many drummers? Well, I do believe there are 12. It will become obvious, if it isn't already.

You can park just about anywhere. Walk up that very short dead-end street and stay straight even though your GPS will want you to shift to the right. Wait until you can take a hard right and turn (I suspect it's about 12 paces up from the pavement)! ;-)

No replacement logs allowed. You don't have to put things back "exactly" the way they were, but you'll obviously want to follow the general theme!

Congratulations to danh2, Tammy576, their 7 month old grandaughter, and their doberman (Rubi) for the FTF.
