As you all
know, I prefer to hide micros. In a pinch I can hide a small, but
regulars… Ugh. They are heavy and no fun for me to carry, even in
my backpack. But I had one in there, waiting for the perfect
location.
Then,
after spending a great deal of time in the Pilchuck Tree Farm,
BrewerMD and I looked on the trail maps (that we got by downloading
them from
here.)
and noticed this dead end road we hadn’t been on before. That
seemed odd, and we decided to explore.
There we
were, in the back acres of the tree farm, with my back aching from
carrying around this regular cache and it all just fell together. A
location was found, the coordinates secured, the cache name settled
on, and I left these end trails as I came in, only with a lighter
load and happier heart for having placed the cache.
I hope you
enjoy the hike as much as I did.

wonderful things happen to you.
