Geocache Description:

A perfect picnic place in the forests of Naftali Mountains, under a huge tree.

Pistacia Atlantica is the scientific name of the huge tree that governs the picnic area where we planted the cache. The common name of the tree (at least in Hebrew) is Atlantic Ela, and this specific one is said to be over 800 years old.

The picnic area is one of the many attractions along the Naftali Mountains (visit link) . It is easily reachable by car, and it is also frequented by the many ATV trips in the area (tractoronim). Our group started its ATV tour in Dishon, and we had our tea break here.

The cache is a 35mm canister (this was the biggest container we had..).
