Geocache Description:

Palmer, located approximately 30km northwest from Murray Bridge, is a serene little spot barely big enough to call a village. It boasts a pub, a playground and a rest area, but not much else!

If you are approaching from Murray Bridge, you will see some spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the hills. If you are approaching from the west, you will also see some spectacular views of the countryside and hills. You will also notice the excessive and unique graffiti on the rocky slopes that this area is rather renowned for (don't ask why, it just is).

Having passed through this little town literally dozens of times, we figured it was definitely cacheworthy due to those views mentioned above. Be careful during the walk up the slope as it can be a bit crumbly at times.
