Geocache Description:

While perusing Google Earth, we came across this trail we'd never walked. It exemplifies everything we love about the Peninsula - undeveloped land, a scenic view, a nice walk, solitude. Enjoy the Queen's Necklace view on the walk to the cache, on a clear winter day you can see downtown Los Angeles and the snow on the San Gabriel mountains.

The entire trail from end to end is 0.8 mile and is mostly paved, the net elevation change is about 160'. The upper and lower trailheads are marked below as additional waypoints. This series is intended to bring you on a nice walk - all caches should be easy to find. GPS reception may be spotty near all GZs due to the hillside and tree cover. The encrypted hints are spoilers. This series is great for kids and dogs, and also to introduce muggle friends to geocaching.

This container is a camouflage taped plastic lock n lock. The hide location is adjacent to the trail so please use stealth if muggles are around.

All the caches in this series contained a modest FTF prize when placed, this one has an additional kid FTF prize. If you are FTF on more than one cache, please keep only one FTF prize for the series, and leave the others for the next finders. We've completely enjoyed our first year caching and wanted to give back a little to the local caching community.

Congratulations to OJWan for First to Find on all 5 new caches in the series!
and
Looker and Pointer for First Kids to Find!
