The cache is a four inch green plastic tube containing a log and pencil stub. Please be sure the container is securely closed after entering your log. The cache is located on property that is publically accessible.
The City of Gunnison has sponsored SculpTour since the first exhibition in 1993.
SculpTour has fulfilled a community vision of an outdoor, visual arts exhibition of three-dimensional artwork placed in highly visible and accessible places in Gunnison. The
purpose of SculpTour is to provide Gunnison residents and visitors with interesting
arts imagery to entertain and contemplate. Each year the public votes to determine the winner of the People’s Choice Award which is purchased for the City’s permanent collection.
These Not So Wild iron horses were among the first purchases. The grace the lawn of the City of Gunnison Public Works facility. Watch for future caches locating other interesting works of art in Gunnison.
