This cache is a tribute to Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Headquarters, 2nd Floor, 185 King Street.
“We hold thee safe” The Winnipeg Fire Department was established in 1882. Firefighting is a profession where its members are called upon daily to risk their own lives to save others from dangerous situations and to protect property. Firefighters undergo rigorous training and continually upgrade their skills to be able to safely fight fires and perform rescue operations. Park on street and abide by all parking regulations. Metered parking is available and free parking is allowed for a certain amount of time on weekend. Please read the meter you are parking at for exact information on times. Look for this cache with your eyes, it is visible. There has been a report of drug paraphernalia in the area, so please do not search with your hands. Magnetic micro only has room for log, so please bring a writing utensil. Make sure you place cache back exactly as you found it. Cache is in extremely busy area with lots of foot traffic during the day, please use stealth. Congratulations to bergmannfamily on FTF!
