Plural? Well truthfully there may be only ONE killer giant spider, but I wasn't sticking around long enough to find out. This is one of the creepiest woods I've entered in a long time.
Do what I do and carry a big stick. It's good for poking into unknown holes looking for hidden caches. It's good for swinging in front of you to break all those strands of spiderwebs that are at facelevel. And it's good for bashing oversized insects as they make a beeline for you. Some people don't like micros in the woods. Maybe now you'll appreciate them more.
