Geocache Description:


This cache was hidden in the Glen on my Mother's 80th birthday. She lives in the nearby neighborhood, and these are the woods that my brothers and sister used to spend hours exploring as kids. This gallon jar cache is a "birthday party" waiting to be found! Inside you will find noise makers and blowers and even a birthday card for all geocachers to sign for my mother Ernie. Please sign the card #1 first, and when it is full, please put it in your local mail box, and start signing card #2. I will make sure she gets all of your birthday well wishes. Geocachers can also take photos on your smart phones or digital cameras and email them to: Ernies80th@yahoo.com Have a party in the Glen!!

Parking for this cache is located at N 41 1.923 W 74 3.090 Follow the trail along Bear Brook until you get to Bobby Carlin's Memorial Bench at: N 41 1.888 W 74 3.230 Crossing the brook can be made around the bench location. The cache is located across Bear Brook.
