M is for Magnificent views
I'll admit, I was going to do M is for Meg Hut (further up the Pack
Track).... but I stopped here on my way up for a break and was
amazed by the view.
So, now a cache will force you to stop and admire it as well. Enjoy
the peace and quiet!
The cache is a 2L black container and contains a logbook, pencil
and swaps.
WARNING: This cache is located at 1258m above sea level and is a
14km round trip from Swann Rd. You need to be prepared with warm
clothing and food as the weather can change very quickly in the
alpine conditions. This cache may be unavailable during winter due
to snowfall.
This cache is part of my A to Z of the Cromwell Area. At each cache
in the alphabet there will be a special code: note this down and
the letter it corrosponds to - there will be caches in the future
that use these codes. Happy hunting.
