An easy go in a park, with parking on the street.
Another easy micro with a twist.Despite the peaceful setting, you will be surprised to discover that you are standing in what was 69 years ago #41 Canadian Army Basic Training Center. Northeast behind the park you can still see what were barracks, behind those was the main parade square beside Route 202.The local Royal Canadian Legion branch #81, is 150 meters west. It once housed the base hospital.
A number of the soldiers trained here from regiments like the black watch came back after the war to settle & found a family or business or both.They were a part of growing our town to what it is today.
