5th Best place in Halifax to play basketball - George Dixon Park
There are 3 full courts at this location for plenty of pickup ball close to George Dixon Rec Ctr. There is also a smaller gym inside the Rec Ctr used occasionally for basketball.
Best place to park is Charles St - but it is one way heading east so some map study required.
This neighbourhood used another outdoor park on the grounds on the Brunswick St side for many years and many athletes have come up through the Community YMCA program after developing skills here.
