Why not take a break as you drive along the Castlereagh Highway.
If you have not stopped here before, I'm sure you will enjoy the delights your eyes will behold. Take the time to read the stash note for some information on this beautiful valley.
You can drive right up to the top however if you are towing a trailer it would be best to park down below and walk up. Also be very, very careful exiting and re-entering the Castlereagh Highway as cars travel at speed around the corners.
If you have time, take a drive into the Capertee Valley. There are caches to find and it's a great area to explore.
**Caution: Pearson's Lookout can only be legally accessed by vehicles travelling south, towards Lithgow.
