Geocache Description:

Cache point is near Kawagoe Sta of TobuTojyo-line,Honkawagoe Sta of SeibuShinjyuku-line.

Cache is hidden near Taya-zeki.
Cache size is micro,please bring a writting pen.

This is a diversion weir of the agricultural water at the beginning of the Showa era.
It was constructed with the repair business of the Shingashi river.

東武東上線川越駅、西武新宿線本川越駅が最寄り駅となります。

田谷堰にキャッシュはあります。
マイクロサイズですので、筆記用具持参でお願いいたします。

これは昭和初期に実施された新河岸川の改修事業によって建設された農業用水の取水堰です。
今は使われていませんが古めかしい外観が独特の存在感を主張しています。
