Benny's "Cache with a Twist"
This is a Benny "Cache with a Twist" to it.Somewhere we came across a cache like this in some of our exploring,sorry we can not remember where it was,but we did like the idea.Not sure of the original version but this is Benny's Version.
We all have decks of cards laying around the house that are either missing a card OR have corners bent off or just plain worn out.If you don't Check with one of your caching friends. There IS a LOG BOOK IN THE CACHE as it is mandatory to have a log book in a cache. We would like for you to play our card game and place a signed card in the cache-however IF you do not have a card with you when you find the cache you may sign the log book. We have placed some "Spare" cards in the cache as well for you to sign as your log to play our card game..
Please TRY to take a card with you THAT IS NOT ALREADY IN THE CACHE (shown by the previous logs) and sign your Geocaching Handle and date of your placement in the cache on your favorite card.Place that card in the cache. Please then log the find and STATE the CARD YOU PLACED IN THE CACHE if you placed one. --ie. bennykidd(R&K) Dec.11/09 Ace of Hearts placed. You may also sign the log book if you wish. We will see how long it takes to get a "Full Deck" of cards.-When the deck is complete we will Start over.
Make sure you read the previous logs to ensure you are not doing a duplicate card OR take your deck with you--Just in case someone has beat you to the cache and already placed your favorite card and it is not logged yet.
We used to play a LOT OF CARDS for hours and hours at a time but seem to have gotten away from that past time since Dad passed away.Cards were one of his favorites to spend an evening--a little money was placed Just to make it a bit more exciting. Not much as he did not call it gambling.Just a friendly game.
