Remember that you need to take at least 2 cars when driving off
road - have water and the correct recovery kit with you. Even this
gentle drive can be a nightmare if you get stuck alone!
when we placed the cache there were the remains of a gazelle
that had fallen into the water and died trying to get out.
The Water.
Placed during a picnic with friends.
Do look for the desert roses (on the northern side of the water
- 3/4 of the way up the slope).
Really enjoyed this spot - have had a few picnics here. Some
good dune driving around the area. Also some nice picnic and
camping spots - but can be popular - so be prepared to find the
area full. We placed the cache on an overcast day when the rain
came down for a while.
