Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates given identify where you can collect the info. to solve the puzzle.You cannot park here but can a short distance east although not on Sunday mornings. The cache is a short half mile from here but you can drive closer if you wish.

Since I started geocaching in the summer I have been taken to many places I should never have thought of visiting and enjoyed myself hugely so now I thought it was time to give something back and set my first cache. Look for the two associations with Popeye Doyle and write down all the numbers as they appear. Starting with A, substitute a letter for each number, ignoring repetitions. The cache is hidden at N 54 FE.FAD W 1 FC.ADC. When you reach it you will have a view that may have been seen by the Roman general Agricola and his soldiers as they marched to attempt to subdue the whole island more than 40 years before Hadrian gave it all up as a bad job and built his wall.
