Saturnmansc1: I am regretfully archiving this cache listing due to the new PP&R guidelines to save another cache of mine in the park. Since I am (still... ugh) living out of state and cannot get back to take proper care of this cache, I am going to archive it. It does make me a bit sad to archive my first Oregon cache. [:(]

Thanks to everyone who searched for this cache. It was one that I always enjoyed reading the logs when it was either found or not.

This micro cache is hidden not far from where I live. Having come from a more temperate climate, this is my first winter in Oregon. I was driving home the other day and saw a pond that had frozen over. Nearby signs warned of thin ice and yet, a day or so later, here are people out ice skating. I even ventured out on the ice, minus the skates. I know in the warmer months the title doesn't work, but this is my tribute to my first winter and my first hide in Oregon.
