Small well cammoed cache you will need to bring your own pen, stealth required can be a busy spot.
Boney is back.. The area around the GZ has changed considerably since the 1970s. But this area was well utilized by the crew during filming.
To the east of the gz you will see a store where Boney fought the local butcher turned murderer.
To the west there was a Loco inspection pit and small house where the misunderstood local jack the lad lived who was also wrongly accused of murder.
The Royal Hotel (Hawker Hotel to the north of gz) was used for all internal pub scenes but they used the old Wonoka, now gone ( Daybreak Hotel ) for all external shots.
Finally.... in the carpark area there were stockyards for loading onto trains. The local stockmen had been trying to break in a horse and couldnt, luckily Boney jumped into the yard and had him broken in within minutes...an original horse whisperer.....Enjoy
