Den långsträckta Kvarndammsparken var förr en
nöjespark med dansbana intill två dammar. Idag är
dammarna borta men dess tidigare former är synliga i marken.
Tillsammans med tall, ek, björk, busk- och bambuplanteringar
formar de ett behagligt rum runt Östers enda större
lekplats. Gångvägar löper genom parken och knyter
den till omgivande gator.

penna.
The long Kvarndammsparken used to be an amusement park with an
open air dance floor next to two ponds. Today the ponds are gone
but you can still see in the ground where they used to be. Here you
can also find one of the biggest playgrounds in this part of
Växjö, called Öster.
