Redneck Passions - Elvis Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

ChinaTrekker: Doing my annual surveillance of my caches in case I missed something, and I see this one is probably gone. So time to archive. I'm glad it provided some fun for cachers while it lasted.

Geocache Description:

Room for small trade items, travel bugs, and coins. Near a disk golf basket. Used to be a camoed peanut butter jar in honor of The King, but the log got all wet, so changed to a Lock-N-Lock on New Year's Eve 2010. Has a pen inside. Terrain a little easier now.

Third cache in the "Redneck Passions Series." You know, just about everybody back in the 1950s was passionate about Elvis. Still true today (some of us who remember are STILL ALIVE!), and not just rednecks either! But rednecks have been known to be especially fond of Elvis' favorite food, the Fried Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich. (Has to be fried in bacon grease to be authentic!) Does sound yummy! I do plan to try one myself the next time I'm in Memphis.
