This cache is a easy walk on marked trails an good for all ages.
This Cache is hidden in Douglas-Hart Nature Center on Rt. 316 E Mattoon. It is privately owned but open to the public. Permission was given to hide this cache. Trails are open dawn to dusk daily. Visitor Center hrs. Mon-Sat 8 AM - 4 PM; Sun 1 to 4 PM. Cache is a military ammo box, this place is great for children and adults. coords corrected 12/31/03 to reflect previous finders comments. You can visit their web site at http://www.dhnature.org. This is a change to their latest web site. It's all free. A donation or a purchase at the gift shop is appreciated to help offset expenses.
