The coords will bring you to the grave marker of the Krapfel family. (Third cousins, twice removed, once expelled, from the Craphas family of the Eastern portion of WI).
This type of marker is classified as a “Woodsman of the World” marker. The history is interesting and no two monuments are alike. Each is subject to the stonecutter’s skills and artistic interpretation.
Tree-stump tombstones first appeared in the 1870's and were in style until the 1920's, when the cost became prohibitive.
The typical design shows a living tree that has been cut down, suggesting that the individual was also cut down in the prime of life. Branches are also seen to be cut-off close to the stump, symbolized other family members who had also died young.
Inscriptions are cut into the "wood" or a scroll is nailed to the stump, or suspended from a rope hanger.
A wide variety of items are often seen on the stump, ranging from a cross, bible, anchor, flowers, ivy, etc. Each item has it’s own symbolic representation.
