Geocache Description:

You can get only so far with transport, then its a rocky road.

Small cache with swappables. I went for a holiday to Marmaris (read Blackpool with sun) and placed this cache on after a couple of hours mooching around in the baking sun. Please be aware that it gets VERY hot going up this road if you are walking out of Marmaris, so take plenty of water and a sun hat. On the positive side, there is a place to fill your water bottle a few hundred yards down the road from the co-ordinates. When you reach the co-ordinates, coming up the road (Sinan Caddesi, past Sokak 432/431 junction') there is a very rocky road ( I'm not even sure if it's a part time river bed in the wet season) going up the hill away from the road. Walk up this track until it peters out at a large domed rock. The geocache is here. I couldn't get a gps signal with my device here so if you can, please update GZ if you find it. It's worth the walk for the peace and quiet up here, so take some sandwiches, a drink, a friend if you like and enjoy the cicadas. Good luck.
