Geocache Description:

Howick is one of the early settlements of Europeans in New Zealand. HOWICK is named after the third Earl Grey, formerly Lord Howick, who was Secretary for the Colonies in the British Parliament and was responsible for the Royal New Zealand Fencible Corps immigration scheme. His family home is Howick Hall, Northumberland, England.

Gather the required information at the waypoints for the final and you can learn something about the local history along the way.
