Geocache Description:

I placed this guardrail cache on the way to the Red Apple Rest Cache. I always loved driving along the Orange Turnpike, usually as a cut-through to the NYS Thruway. This will be the first of more to be placed.

This cache was placed on a road adjacent to the turnpike, called Hall Drive. It is not a very wide road, but your parking time should be short unless you plan a hike. The Appalachian Trail crosses nearby and across the turnpike, you can spot a footbridge. Near the bridge, a stone structure begs to be explored as well. A short distance down the road is parking for the trailhead as well.
