Geocache Description:

The coordinates above are for possible parking and is not the location of the cache.

THIS IS A NIGHT CACHE, that means it should be attempted in the DARK and you'll need a TORCH. dark forest
This is a bonus NIGHTCACHE that leads on from Barry’s Midnight Stroll. On the log book of Barry’s Midnight Stroll there are instructions on how to find the start of this Night Cache.

After completing the previous cache, do not follow the exit route - head in the general direction given in the clue (East) stay on the obvious path and head up; after some distance you will see reflective markers starting on your RIGHT hand side as you walk along. If they are on the left you are going the wrong way! The ones on the left are nearer than the right. These are orientated so that (hopefully) they can only be seen from one direction. Follow these markers until you find several reflectors on one tree and you'll be within 2m of the cache.
You will be walking on existing paths and tracks, I have tried to keep the the reflectors around 500ft apart untill the final section just stay on the obvious path until you have to obviously enter the forest.
On the log book of this cache you will find coordinates to find your way back to the start. RETURN TO THE MAIN TRACK and head to the waypoint, walking downhill on an easy open path, stay on this obvious path back down to a main forestry track; there are reflectors on this path to help guide you. This will bring you back on the exit route of the previous cache,  At the double markers take the path to the left through the trees. When you come out of the trees you should be able to see the bridge over the river to the parking area.

Remember to shine the torch all around you. Remember to bring equipment with you - this includes a mobile phone, Good Shoes or boots as it can be a little muddy  Spare batteries for GPS and torch,
And above all - HAVE FUN!!

Barry Sidings Countryside Park is an attractive countryside park that can be accessed 24hr. I have given parking at two locations; both are residential. Parking1 is closer and Parking 2 will give you a longer dark walk, both have easy access to the park.
