Geocache Description:

This cache is an easy find, near a very well-known landmark in Bathurst. The container is a magnetic micro.

The Eastern Cape is an unlikely spot to grow pineapples, but the warm sea currents provide an ideal climate. These and other interesting facts can be found by taking the tour through the unusual large structure nearby, for which there is a small charge (R10 per adult, and R5 per child at the time planting).

However, you don't need to take the tour or pay anything to locate the cache. Please take care and watch small children near the cache location as there may be some vehicle traffic around.

There is a convenient spot to park a few metres from the cache location, in the shade of a coral tree.

While you are in the vicinity, you can also start your hunt for the multi-stage cache "The Bathurst Roundabout Renewed" (GC18MZW), the first stage of which is hidden nearby.
