Church of Holy Angels

The history of the church

In the 1980s the one of the most busiest building estates of Budapest was built at Gazdagrét.There decided Lászó Lipp (Father László), to build a multifunctional building: church and community rooms in one. The foundation-stone was layed on 30 March, 1990, on last Saturday before the first free election. The building was started in 1994. The partly finished church was sacreced by László Paskai Cardinal Primate Archbishop. To finishing the building is needed app. 500 million Forints.

By BKK bus Nr. 153 as far as Csíkihegyek utca stop.

Szent Angyalok temploma

A templom története

Az 1980-as években épült fel Gazdagréten Budapest egyik legsűrűbb lakótelepe Gazdagréten. Itt határozta el Lipp László (László atya), hogy többfunkciós épületet épít fel: templomot és közösségi teret egyben. Az alapkőletétel 1990. március 30-án volt, az utolsó szombaton az első szabad választás előtt. A részben elkészült épületet dr. Paskai László bíboros, prímás érsek szentelte fel 1994-ben. A befejezéshez kb. 500 millió forintra van szükség.
