A regular cache along the San Pedro River. Easy to find but requires a short bushwack after arriving in the vicinity via a lengthy but easy trail. You may want to bike to it.
Located in the San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area which is an important corridor for migrating birds.
The trail runs between Hereford Rd and the San Pedro House at Highway 90. Parking is located at either of those locations. The cache is slightly closer to Hereford Rd than San Pedro House.
The riverbank in this area is grassy and would make a good picnic site. This is an area where the river runs above ground year round.
