This cache is located a distance down this beautiful trail. You will need to bushwack some to the cache area. Please be careful with the fragile hiding spot and take care in covering the cache.
This is a section of the Ice Age Trail. Near the cache site you can see the remnants of an old log dam. Hemlock Creek was an important route for moving logs early in the twentieth century. In 1970, a storm washed out the dams on this creek at Buck's Lake, Murphy Flowage, upstream from this trail and Bolger Flowage, which is downstream.
You can park on the west side of County F at the Murphy Flowage Recreation picnic area.
