UPDATED 9 July 2021!!! The grid coordinates listed ARE NOT the location of the cache. This is a Multi-Cache that requires you physically input the listed grid coordinates and answer questions correctly to gain the location of Cache. Independence Park, completed in 1996, is located in the center of Jerusalem. It is bounded on the West by King George St., Hillel St. on the north and Agron St. on the south. The Park may be approached by crossing King George St. from Hechal Shlomo. A small hill was removed to create a large open meadow. This area serves as an amphitheater for the city’s festivities & holidays. The park is on a broad, east facing slope whose 3000 square meter reservoir, at the tip of the triangle furthest from King George is the Mamilla Pool which is thought to have once provided a part of the Old City's water supply by being connected to Hezekiah's Pool and Sultan's Pool. The lower portion is the site of a medieval Muslim graveyard. It was built by Leonard Wilf, of Short Hills, New Jersey, a child of Holocaust survivors, and he is a leader in both the business and Jewish communities in his area. He has earned a reputation as a leading supporter of Jewish causes for his commitment to Holocaust memorial preservation, the United Jewish Appeal and United Jewish Federation, among other activities. Leonard Wilf built the Harry Wilf Independence Park in memory of his late father. All parts of this cache are inside Independence Park. You do not have to cross any paved roads when moving between points and the final cache location. When you have answered ABCDE&F, you have learned the location of the cache site. You will be seeking what is commonly referred to as a “Nano” cache. Inside of the Nano is a small log to sign. The Nano is approximately 1.5 cm (5/8”) tall (including the magnet) with a diameter of slightly less than 1cm (3/8”). As just mentioned, it is magnetic and it has a screw top. Please put it back the way you found it. Hope you have some fun with this one! Nano is located at 31 46.ABC North 35 13.DEF East You MUST solve problems for "A,B,C,D,E,F" A (31 46.694N 035 13.129E) = This grid will take you to a tree; if it is Deciduous A=5, if it is a Conifer then A=3 B (31 46.617N 035 13.095E) = This grid will take you to a staircase. The number of steps that are LONGER than 3 meters (counting the last step up) =B C (31 46.722N 035 13.158E) = This grid takes you to a large green object. The sum of these objects in the entire park PLUS 1 =C D (31 46.734N 035 13.161E : 31 46.619N 35 13.220E) = These two grids will take you to the starting and ending point of a short walk. You can begin at either end, but you must follow the sidewalk between the two points, counting parking meters as you go. The sum of the parking meters you find PLUS 1=D E (31 46.620N 035 13.200E) = This grid will take you to a sign with various information. It also contains a helpful telephone number. The smallest prime number in that telephone number=E F (31 46.608N 035 13.141E) = This grid will take you to a location where you need to count the number of green boxes you see. The number of green boxes=F
