Geocache Description:

Located in Homer Alaska on the Spit. Near easy parking.

A stocked salmon fishery in Alaska?

As many times as I've driven past this "Lagoon", I never realized that thousands of fish feel the call to return here every year. When I poked around the area on a bright May morning, I only found serenity and no hint of the activity that would be spawned as the Kings returned a few weeks later. In June, the call of halibut was so strong that I only said a quick hi to this special place. Come the end of August, who knows? I may have my Ugli Stick by then, just in time for the silvers.

The original Fishing Hole was born in May. It's fraternal twin was born in May too.
