Geocache Description:

35 mm file cannister hidden near The Merryfellow in the centre of Charlton Kings
Note the number on the log sheet, for a bonus cache somewhere in the area

In December 1986, a small group of friends decided to entertain themselves one evening by visiting each of Charlton Kings' pubs (seven, plus one twice). New friends have joined, and others have moved on, but the annual trip still continues. This series is placed during the 23rd running of the event, and in honour of Jeff (and Rachel) who was one of the original group, but has now departed for sunnier climes.

Traditionally the penultimate stop, it is now often the last one. With the demise of the Duke of York at East End, and the addition of various others en route it is number 8 on the trip (on the first running, it was number 7, but on the odd occasion has been number 9).
