Small tube hidden near the The Clocktower in Charlton Kings. Note the number on the log sheet, and possibly the beer name, for the two bonus caches somewhere in the area.
In December 1986, a small group of friends decided to entertain themselves one evening by visiting each of Charlton Kings' pubs (seven, plus one twice). New friends have joined, and others have moved on, but the annual trip still continues. This series is placed honour of the 23rd running of the event, and in particular honour of Jeff (and Rachel) who was one of the original group, but has now departed for sunnier climes. The Clocktower is number 1 on the route (but a recent addition to the route). A Marston's House, the pub has been re-branded following Wolverhampton & Dudley's acquisition of Martson's - the PR people think it must be more enticing that Banks! p.s. bring a pen p.p.s. The pub is on a busy road so keep an eye on kids and dogs
