Cash Withholding
So what is cash withholding?
It is a little box in the the W2 you fill out before you start working. You can add any amount to this box, what it will do is remove this amount from each paycheck and be added to your federal taxes.
$34*21=$300
Pay more taxes!!! You say what?
No. All this money that is accumulated will be returned back to you at the end of the year at tax season.
Consider this a personal savings account. Since you do not see this money, you learn to live without it and when you get the refund you just got an extra 20*24=480 (If you do 20.00 every two weeks. And thats assuming you get paid by-weekly)
This works out for you too if you owe the IRS money. Its not like putting it in the bank protects it from inflation either, nor from your desperate fingers when you need money. $82*49=$168
I wouldn't say use this as your sole savings plan, but its a nice tool to have.
If you increase it to 50.00 that will be 50*24= $1,200!
Or in this case.... It's a box at the end of a final set of coordinates left up to you to figure out. Good luck and have fun! Who knows there may even be some sort of FTF prize inside.
Just a heads up...there is a 1969 silver half dollar and a FTF unactivated coin inside for the first to find. Enjoy!
