Borrego Big Bird Traditional Cache
starcrwzr: Looks like this one is gone. I don't have the time or the money to replace, so I'm afraid it's going to have to be archived.

One of many metal sculptures done by Ricardo Breceda.
This is a small black aluminum pill bottle epoxied to a rare earth magnet and stuck to this magnificent metal sculpture of a prehistoric eagle near the town of Borrego Springs. These sculptures, commissioned by Dennis Avery, are placed all over the desert floor of Borrego Springs and range from eagles to mastodons, to dinosaurs. Maps are available at the linked web site and well worth the day it will take to see all of them. I'm going to try and put a micro at many of them, so have fun finding them.
This particular sculpture has about 1000 hiding places, so that's why this gets a four on difficulty. Be very careful poking your hand into the sculpture, there are sharp edges everywhere. A spoiler picture is provided to save you from cutting your hand. Bring a pencil or pen, this is a log only cache.
