With this series of Winter Friendly Caches the first four are moderately easy to get to provided you don't sink up to your knees in the snow along the wood line. I placed these wearing snowshoes, and was able to easily bushwhack in between 10 and 30 meters without needing to take them off.
Recommended Parking Coordinates are provided, and I'll place them here as well: N 45° 49.845 W 066° 29.694 (These are the Same as for my 1 Gap 4 Series).
For caches 5 thru 8, I recommend crossing the street at a safe location and using the road like trail which begins around N 45° 50.233 W 066° 30.011 . The fifth cache begins past the end of this road/trail, but makes the route to it all that much easier.
If you decide to continue one after the 4th cache, the terrain becomes in my opinion, much more cumbersome. The undergrowth consists of much more brush, causing even snowshoes to sink through if you take the high ground. Caches 5 through 7 skirt the tree line along the Trans Canada Highway and under no circumstances should it be accessed from the Highway. This would pose a danger to yourself and other motorists any time of year.
The Final and 8th cache will bring you full circle, withing a couple hundred meters of the recommended parking coordinates. Having said that, it is a very STEEP CLIMB to reach the 8th from the 7th cache. From the 7th Cache, you might want to follow the perimeter of the municipal works grounds around to the roadway, and just use the sidewalk to reach the final cache.
