Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDS....YOU WILL FIND THE CEMETERY AT THESE COORDS. YOU NEED TO FIND MARY'S FIRST MARKER THEN HEAD EAST 100' FROM HER FIRST MARKER TO THE TREASURE TROVE.

Horseback riding allowed.

This treasure trove takes you back to a time when horse-drawn wagons traversed the rocky landscape and life was short-lived.

There are 2 trailheads, N and S, that allow access to the cache depending on how ambitious of a hiker you are. The S parking lot is a longer and more strenuous in and out hike. The S coordinates are Elevation 1244 ft.
N 36° 50.885' W 093° 12.910'

The N parking lot is closer to the cache. N coordinates:
Elevation 954 ft. N 36° 51.732' W 093° 13.515'

Small Green Ammo Container Cache contains: LOTS OF GOODIES.

GOOD HUNTING!!!

The above coords will take you to the Carter Cemetery. 20' in you will find a new stone for Mary Dye. Your job, if you chose to accept it, is to find Mary's original first stone. (Hint: It is in a corner.) You will find the treasure trove 100' due East of Mary's original headstone. This will take you out of site of the cemetery & hidden from muggles. Good Luck!

Thank you to Frances Main, Area Manager of Busiek State Forest for allowing this cache to be placed.
