This cache is a small painted pill container with a log only placed in front of an old store.
Dewey was my great-grandfather who owned this store from 1952-1971. It functioned as a gas station (Esso then later Exxon), grocery store, and service station. Most transactions were done by credit tabs; at the time the store closed in 1971, only 2 tabs had not been paid in full.
This is the first cache in this area...and our first to place. There is a house beside the store and this cache was placed with the owner's permission. Hope to place more in the area soon. Please let us know if the cache needs maintenance.
Congrats to auctioneer1366 for being FTF!
