Geocache Description:

The 19th of a series of quickie caches located in or adjacent to Caltrans Park and Ride Lots. This is a camo'd 35mm container (see below). Please bring your own pen.

Commuting cachers need more love, and those that are carpooling deserve to be rewarded. This is part of a series of caches located in or adjacent to Caltrans Park and Ride lots in the San Francisco Bay Area. Check the related web page for information on all these lots, and some others that are not operated by Caltrans.

May as well be honest folks. I suck at hangers. I suppose I could lame out and say I'm getting old... and I never have the right focal length lenses in front of me. But really... I'm not sure that's it. I don't know why I hung this cache here... because it was a good 24 hours before I ran into hanger after hanger after hanger in Dublin. Made me dizzy. I might upgrade this container because I have a bunch of hanger wannabee's waiting to escape my garage but I have yet to develop a sufficiently twisted mentality to deploy them... this was the only one I had in my traveling kit during recon and there was so much vegetation around the perimeter of this lot that I couldn't resist. That's rare for a Park and Ride. So take me out and shoot me.

UPDATE 7/26/10: Replacement cache is now a waterproof matcholder.

UPDATE 10/14/10: Another cache replacement... this time we've abandoned the hanger hide. Log only now.
