Geocache Description:

Background
The Sarel Cilliers bridge, also known locally as the Wawielbrug because of the resemblance to oxwagen wheels, was opened in 1941 and is one of two bridges over the Vals river.
The outline of the bridge can also be seen on the Kroonstad tourism campaign.

The Cache
The cache is a magnetised 35mm container stuck to the top of the metal railing where the western span reaches the northern shore.
The cache can be attempted at night. If you are lucky enough to do this during the Xmas season, have a look at the lights criss-crossing the river. Parking is available at the Shell garage on the northern side of the bridge.
