On May 1st and 2nd, Groundspeak will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching! Who would have thought back when President Clinton turned off "selective availability" that a game that is so much fun for people of all ages would be born? |
If you do not know the history of geocaching you can read about it here. or even if you would like a refresher... you never know when that info might come in handy.

Everyone is welcome to join in this celebration of 10 years of Geocaching, so whether you are a new player or have been doing this as long as I have or somewhere in between come out and share some stories, discuss your favourite caches, get some help with a pesky puzzle cache, or find the owner of that cache you just can't find and get a hint!
Just like Signal the Frog says, here is your chance to become active by releasing you from the shackles of your indoor "entertainment system."
If you are working towards completing your Cacheport, be sure to find me to have your cancellation performed. This will only be done at the event.
The event will take place at the Jordan House starting at 8pm. They offer the standard tavern favourites to help you after a full day of caching should that be how you are celebrating this great day in history. If you are looking for more specific information about the venue, they have their own website that covers all of the amenities available.
