In cooperation with our good friends at Halton Conservation Authority there will be a CITO event at Kelso Conservation Area. Kelso is one of the more popular parks under the HRCA banner and is enjoyed year round for camping, skiing, family time and general outdoor recreation. As HRCA is such a great supporter of geocaching on its lands, including several of the annual BLF nights, it seems right to pitch in and help clean up some of the park.
HRCA has granted us free admission to the park for the day in exchange for helping to clean up. The main clean up will begin at 10am and go till mid-afternoon, and for liability reasons HRCA needs everyone that is participating to sign a waiver that will be provided. Yes this is a Sunday CITO so those of you that are attending any of the CITOs on Saturday can hopefully drop here after.
I will be providing the garbage bags for everyone but please bring gloves that are suitable for pick up discarded items. We will likely split up and tackle the areas of the ski slopes that often collect a lot of rubbish that becomes exposed when the snow melts. Some of us can also trek into the park and gather as much as we can.
The main point is that HRCA has been excellent at allowing us to enjoy caching on their lands and this CITO event would be a great way to show them how much we appreciate them. Come on our for a few hours and fill a few bags. A small token of appreciation goes a long way to strengthen that bond.

Guest Reviewer - Rana Pirica : One of the Reapers, and who better to have publish a CITO than someone that helps clean up those disabled listings. I know that sweeping is a challenge for most reviewers, and is a thankless task. I thank the Reapers for their efforts.
