Geocache Description:

Cacheport #149

I've been Geocaching for over 10 years and it is obviously a big part of my life, or at least my recreational life. But I play other games too like Chess, Backgammon, Euchre, Cribbage and of course Monopoly. There are many others too and one I really miss is Dungeons and Dragons. Anyway, recently I started playing a new game and it has some very unusual rules to it.

Your challenge is to figure out what game has caught my attention based on the rules provided below and determine the coordinates of the actual geocache. I'm sorry if these rules seem strange but once you get good at this game then maybe we can play together over a coffee. It's also important to note that all of the rules should be found on the same website, just so that the game doesn't get confusing. Without further interruption, here are the rules of the game.

  1. Start with the general rule that you should always bring a towel just in case you do something stupid.
  2. Remember that there will always be more rules. Always.
  3. Always carry a knife.
  4. No matter what it is, it will be on the Internet at least two weeks before it is released to the public.
  5. The GM is always right.
  6. The cake is a lie.
  7. Always carry a knife.
  8. It is delicious cake. You must eat it!
  9. If it's gonna be hot, you don't need a jacket. (I only use half of this rule when I play).
  10. At some point every conversation of over an hour will involve your Mom in some way shape or form.

It should be obvious how some rules relate to others. Other things you might observe during game play are not a direct result of playing the game nor are they a part of the game. In life we all see things that we would rather not, nor did we request them. This happens unintentionally both in life and the game.

Guest Reviewer - General Disarray : Who better to publish a cache about rules than someone with a name like this? The reviewer also has played online poker with me several times and we spent a full day together in Chicago where I learned just how much fun they can be. Their spouse has a great sense of humour too.

The Cacheport Series: This is cache #149 - Please make sure that you perform your cancellation with your Cacheport book, if you are participating in this optional activity.
