Efail Isaf Train Station Traditional Cache

Walk along the disused Efail Isaf Railway, and pull into the old train station to find this cache.

The station opened on 6th of March 1896 and demanded a double length footbridge for the small number of passengers.
The station was closed on the 10th of September 1962.

Easy access from the newly built nearby community footpath, including the Church Village Bypass series.

Can also be turned into a cicular walk of about 30 minutes. After finding the cache, head for the other start point. At Start Point 1, follow the road to the left. Or if at Start Point 2, follow the road to the right. Cache and Dash available from either start points. Start Point 2 is still accessible, even though the new bypass and new build house has turned it a bit messy (my apologies for this). Head between the new build house and the bypass.

Terrain is flat but as this is South Wales, some patches along the disused railway line will be muddy! Push chairs would be do-able in finer weather.

On street parking is available near both start points, but please be legal and considerate.

Please make sure cache isn't visible when re-hiding, and watch out for dog walkers!
